Completo Forage Supplement is specifically formulated to replace a portion of the hay in a horse’s daily feeding program. It is an ideal feeding solution for horses sensitive to hay dust, horses with dental challenges, or situations where forage availability is limited.
Made with highly digestible fiber sources including soybean hulls, alfalfa, beet pulp and grain screenings, Completo supports digestive health while providing excellent palatability. Its low glycemic index makes it well suited for a variety of equine nutrition programs.
The formula also contains a natural antioxidant that complements vitamin E by supporting cellular protection, immune function and overall performance. Completo can replace up to 50% of the forage portion of the diet on a 1:1 basis with hay.
Key Features
Feed this ration at a rate of 3 kg per day for a 500 kg horse, or adjust according to the horse’s body condition, which should be maintained at a Body Condition Score (BCS) of 5 to 6 out of 9.
If the amount of feed provided is below the recommended feeding rate, supplement the ration with an appropriate vitamin and mineral supplement.
Introduce this feed gradually, and make any dietary changes over a period of 1 to 2 weeks. Divide the daily ration into 2 to 3 feedings per day. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
